*Please note this is an adults only evening. Content of the discussion will involve issues surrounding domestic violence and relationship abuse.* The book we will be discussing in small groups will be "It Ends With Us" by best-selling author Colleen Hoover, which deals with topics surrounding domestic abuse. "It Ends With Us" was released by Sony Pictures as a motion picture this August. SAAV will be featuring guest speaker and domestic violence survivor Danielle Sicard to open up the evening. Smaller group discussions of the book will be led alongside our friends at Melrose Alliance, Wakefield Alliance and Stoneham Reads. SAAV is looking forward to raising awareness about domestic violence and unhealthy relationships by having thoughtful conversations about the themes in "It Ends With Us", including criticism of the book's framing of domestic violence.

Attendees will be provided with appetizers and light refreshments and can enter in to win raffles to benefit the work of the Stoneham Alliance Against Violence. You do NOT HAVE to read the book to attend. If you are interested in mingling with neighbors and learning more about healthy relationships, please join us!

Tickets include light apps, refreshments, and your guided evening of conversation and fun benefitting SAAV. Tickets are $20 per person and all proceeds benefit the Stoneham Alliance Against Violence. Limited Quantities Available!

How to get the book: Attendees can borrow the book at the Stoneham Public Library, which has set aside several dozen copies for the Alliance. You may also buy the book from our friends at The Book Oasis in Stoneham.
