radKIDS: Safety Education for Grades 1-3

This session is for students who attended the previous radKIDS sessions.

Students in Grades 1-3 are welcome to participate in four sessions of radKIDS, a comprehensive safety education program offered in partnership with the Stoneham Alliance Against Violence thanks to a grant from the Stoneham Business and Community Educational Foundation. The class is limited to 10 participants and will meet at Common House Stoneham on Mondays: 9/30, 10/7, 10/21, and 10/28 from 4:30-6:00pm. Parents and guardians are welcome to participate.

radKIDS Curriculum topics include bullying, home, school, and vehicle safety, out and about safety, realistic defense against abduction, good-bad-uncomfortable touch, stranger tricks, and self-realization of personal power.

Since 2001 radKIDS® has become the National Leader in Children’s Safety Education. It empowers children and parents with a revolutionary skill-based curriculum that strengthens children’s personal boundaries, critical thinking skills, and confidence in their parents and caregivers.

The radKIDS lifeskills curriculum replaces fear with knowledge, skill, and power. Enhancing a child’s self-value, resilience, and physical resistance skills, the radKIDS curriculum provides the opportunity for children to recognize, avoid, resist, and, if necessary, escape violence or harm, including the dangers of opioid and drug abuse, while remaining joyful and safer in our world today.
