Taking a walk along the Tri-Community Greenway, you're surrounded by invasive species, native plants, edible offerings both native and invasive, and even poisonous or dangerous plants. Focusing on the short quarter mile stretch between Maple Streets and Montvale Avenue in the Greenway, local resident Brenda Flynn will talk about the biggest offenders and opportunities. She'll open your eyes to both invaders and treasures. To wrap up, she'll share staghorn sumac and crabapple preserves for tasting harvested from the Greenway.
